Fair Cape Dairies is proud to announce the Appointment of Ghawwa Adams to the Board of Directors, effective 1st September 2016.
Ghawwa is a prime example of an employee taking charge of her own development and career by demonstrating the fact that success ultimately is your own responsibility.
She commenced her career at Fair Cape Dairies in 2001 as a student completing her degree in Food Technology. Appointed in 2002 as a Lab Tech in DC1, she was promoted to the Senior Lab Tech position in 2005. In 2007 she was promoted to the Lab Manager position at DC1 and in 2008 she was appointed as the Lab Manager at the Fair Cape Farming (FCF) operation.
In 2009 the company appointed her as the Manager for Production and Quality at FCF.
As far as her professional development goes, she completed her Food science degree at CPUT, then went on to complete the New Manager Development Programme(NMDP), the Management Development Programme(MDP) and the Senior Management Development Programme(SMDP) at the Stellenbosch University Business School.
As a company we are honoured to have Gawwa serve on the board of directors. We know that she will use her skill, subtle influence, attention to detail, enthusiasm and intuition to play a meaning full part in the strategic direction of the business, but also in fulfilment of her own ambitions in the years to come.
